Therapy Pricing

  • 50-minute individual therapy session: $170

Payment is due at time of session, and can be paid by cash, credit card, debit card, and HSA/FSA card.

  • In an effort to promote accessibility of services, I offer a select number of sliding scale spots for clients who are unable to afford the full rate. Rates are determined based on what is affordable to the client. Please feel free to reach out to me to inquire about current sliding scale availability.

*Please note that my sliding scale slots are currently full. Thank you for your interest, and please check back in the future!*

  • I am considered an out-of-network provider, which means that I do not directly accept insurances. I am able to accept cash, check, major credit cards, and HSA cards as methods of payment.

When paying out of pocket, please note that many insurance plans will reimburse you for a percentage of your out-of-network therapy expenses (often, 50-80% or more of costs are reimbursable).

This means that you are responsible for your therapy expenses at the time of service. From there, I am happy to provide you with a “superbill” (a detailed invoice) that you may submit to your insurance provider to seek reimbursement. Because reimbursement varies from plan to plan, I am not able to guarantee what your insurance provider will reimburse you. In order to avoid any unexpected financial surprises, I recommend reaching out to your insurance provider to inquire about out-of-network benefits (see below) if your ability to move forward with therapy is contingent on reimbursement from your insurance provider.

  • In order to determine your out-of-network benefits, I recommend reaching out to your insurance provider to ask the following questions about reimbursement:

•What are my out-of-network mental health benefits?

•Do I have deductible? If so, what is covered after the deductible is met?

•Do I require a pre-authorization for my out of network benefits?

•What is the reimbursement I will receive for a CPT code of 90837? (This is what most individual therapy sessions are coded for).
